This is a good sized spinosauridae tooth with excellent enamel with slight feeding wear to the tip, currently it is not possible to determine between two species present in the kem kem beds (Spinosaurus aegyptiacus and Sigilmassasaurus brevicollis) based upon teeth alone. There are no repairs and as can be seen from the photographs has an very good preservation which for this size is uncommon. This fossil along with all of our fossils, has been consolidated with Paraloid B-72, which is a standard between personal collectors and museums.
